Viewing and Editor Modes of Views
A view in QPR MobileDashboard has two modes: an editor mode and a viewing mode. In addition, a view can be either locked or unlocked. Changes to the view properties and contents can only be done in the unlocked editor mode.
Viewing Mode
The view is opened in the viewing mode when:
- Administrators group has been configured and a viewer user opens the view (because the users doesn't have permissions to edit the view).
- The opened view is locked.
Editor Mode
The view is opened in the editor mode when:
- Administrators group has been configured and an administrator user opens an unlocked view.
- Administrators group has not been configured (i.e. all users are administrators), and the opened view is unlocked.
