Processes Main Page

This page is presenting the root process content in cards/diagram views. It opens when user selects "Processes" from landing page. This is a starting point of exploring the process hierarchy.

Sider

This component is located on left side of the screen. Shows tree hierarchy of processes that are modeled in EA/PD. If there are typos or something needs to be added/modified/deleted, the changes should be done in the model. Clicking a item in tree updates the page content area and url.

Page Header

Page Header displays basic information about the selected process on top level of the process hierarchy. In addition to default contents, additional components can be nested inside page header.

Card View

Card view visualizes the processes modeled in QPR EnterpriseArchitect / ProcessDesigner (EA/PD) as cards. Cards can be clicked to expand the subprocesses or to view details about the selected process step. When user clicks a card to show lower level of hierarchy, screen is scrolled if necessary. If user clicks a process from sider menu, highest level of hierarchy is shown in page header, all lower levels until the level of the process clicked are visualised as cards. i.e. all parent levels of hierarchy are also shown. Screen gets scrolled to correct position in hierarchy.

If lowest hierarchy level contains only activities (no processes at all), activities are visualized as activity table instead of card components.

Contents for this view are fetched from MEA WebService. If a new step needs to be added, it has to be updated to the model in EA/PD. Also the detailed information comes from MEA.

Cards are sorted by the x- and y-coordinates that are got from graphicalproperties attribute.

Diagram View

Shows a diagram view of the selected process. If user clicks some element, the view contents and url update. The diagram contents and layout are coming from MEA WebService. If the layout or contents of the diagram needs to be changed, this needs to be done in modeling software.
