View and Edit Modes

A view in QPR MobileDashboard has two modes: an editor mode and a viewing mode. In addition, a view can be either locked or unlocked. Changes to the view properties and contents can be done only in the unlocked editor mode.

View Mode

The view is opened in the view mode when:

• Administrators group has been configured and a viewer user opens the view.
• The opened view is locked.

Edit Mode

The view is opened in the edit mode when:

• Administrators group has been configured and an Administrator user opens an unlocked view.
• Administrators group has not been configured, and the opened view is unlocked.
