Known issues
September 16th 2022 All currently supported versions of QPR Metrics fail to start in the preview release of Windows 11 version 22H2. This version of Windows is expected to be generally available September 20th 2022. Taking into account the possibility that the issue will not immediately be fixed in the generally available version of Windows 11, we are planning to provide a hotfix of Metrics client, which works around the issue. The hotfix is planned for QPR Metrics versions 2019.1 and 2022.1. The estimated availability of the hotfix is by the end of September 2022. The issue seems to be related to .NET framework version 4.8.1, so other versions of Windows may also be affected if that version of .NET framework is installed. By blocking the .NET 4.81 update users can prevent the problem before the hotfix client is installed.
Update September 21st 2022 The issue of QPR Metrics failing to start still occurs with the Windows 11 version 22H2 that is now being made generally available. There are now hotfixes available for QPR Suite 2019.1.1 and QPR Suite 2022.1.0, which enable the QPR Metrics application to start by disabling the graphical gauge indicator component, which triggers the original issue. An empty area will be shown in the place of the gauge indicator in all the graphical views in QPR Metrics application. QPR Portal will not be affected and will still show the gauge indicator normally.
