This QPR UI installation checklist contains all steps needed for a complete QPR UI installation. These steps apply only for a new QPR UI installation. If you are upgrading an existing installation, see instructions here.

  1. Check that your infrastructure fulfills the system requirements for QPR UI.
  2. Make the needed configuration for SQL Server. SQL Server configuration must be done before running QPR UI installer.
  3. Run QPR UI installer. (For advanced scenarios, you can alternatively use silent installation.)
  4. Configure IIS to pass through QPR UI traffic. This enables to use standard ports 80 and 443 that are reserved by IIS for QPR UI.
  5. Optional: You may configure Common QPR Authentication.
  6. Optional: You may configure federated authentication.
  7. Optional: You may need to change QPR UI system settings after the installation. Some settings are in Glassfish.
