Overview: New Portal Tabs is an example customization for building a new customized tab for QPR Portal. The example contains one main tab (“Example tab”), and two sub tabs under the main tab (“Example tab 1” and “Example tab 2”). It’s possible to create any number of new main tabs and sub tabs, and add content from QPR or other website. Note that this accelerator doesn't document, how content for the new tab is constructed.
The benefit of this accelerator is that you can link and show any web based content within the QPR Portal, for example, intranet pages or custom html-pages.
If you need to have additional portal tabs especially for viewing QPR Metrics content, Multiple Metrics Tabs accelerator may be more suitable.
Demo is available in demo.qpr.com (there is a new, customized tab "Example tab").
