Next Release Roadmap

This page contains preliminary information about new features and fixed issues in the next release.

New features in next release

• Introduced QPR Task Recorder for web applications available as Chrome and Edge extension, capable of collecting detailed eventlogs from user actions. (B-09087)
• Flowchart is available both in vertical and horizontal layouts, and maximum flow thickness can be defined. (B-09113)
• Added "About" dialog containing QPR patent information, and "User Settings" dialog redesigned to "User Profile" dialog. (B-09015)
• Dropdown lists show case/event attribute value numbers and dates in ascending order. (B-09125)
• Updated to Angular 22 and Highcharts 13. (B-09122)
• Backend components have been updated. (B-09128)
• Model data can be customized in filter rules by specifying source data expression for cases and events. (B-09127)
• Added in-built MCP tools which are always available: List Process Models, Get Model Details, and Generic Query. (B-09136)
• Label component to change dashboard variables supports any variable types, and changing model with ModelId doesn't automatically use model default filter. (B-09029)
• Added button to export chart to file, and added "Export available in preview mode" setting to prevent exporting from viewers. (B-09151)

Issues fixed in next release

• Fixed issue where QPR ProcessAnalyzer server didn't start up after updating to 2026.5 release when PA_CONFIGURATION table contained settings with integer values. (D-14899)
• CSV export gave incorrect error "datatable doesn't have any columns" if dimensioning was used and no measures were defined. (D-14894)
• When going away from unsaved dashboard but selecting cancel, the unsaved changes dialog didn't appear again. (D-14859)
• "Percentage of filtered cases" gave division by zero error when there was a root causes rule leading to zero cases. (D-14630)
• Fixed issue where some selections requiring pre-expressions didn't work in the combined column. (D-14682)
• Script current and last run log button icons have been changed in Workspace. (D-14713)
• Improved Workspace layout in small screens when there was empty table. (D-14780)
• Improved object-centric model validation when object type datatable is not defined. (D-14864)
• Fixed issue where database migration for configuration table key failed in specific scenario. (D-14902)
• DatetimeTruncation didn't work for Attribute filter rule when filtering events. (D-14886)
• MCP tools input schema configuration always includes now the "properties" field. (D-14918)
• "Design diagrams" appeared twice in the Analyzed entities list in chart settings. (D-14936)
• Chart export created file with only an underscore as name if chart title only contained a space. (D-14930)
• Event type mapping setting didn't work with expression filter rules. (D-14898)
• Fixed issue where setting dashboard level perspective didn't update chart to use the perspective. (D-14814)
• Sorting failed in AI root causes presets when sorting by contributor. (D-14884)

• Workspace has been improved for managing MCP server content. (B-09112)
• Object-centric models: Chart-specific Master data object type setting. (B-09118)
• Dropdown list selector component makes query only when the list is opened to improve performance. (B-09126)
• Connect Snowflake Native App MCP to Snowflake CoWork agents. (B-09132)
• Object-centric model perspective can define from which object types events are counted using EventSourceObjectTypes setting. (B-09133)

Fixes under work

• Error "2 matches were found for column rename" when there are multiple similar measures and event type filters in chart and dimension. (D-14888)
• Improved Scripts report opening time by implementing caching for user management data. (D-14890)
• SQLDataFrame query fails with two consecutive Where functions. (D-14897)
• Object-centric flowchart is not shown in the tool palette when a case-centric model is selected. (D-14926)
• Excel export was broken in Query designer results table. (D-14940)
• For datatables using Snowflake view, editing columns, Import and Delete all rows should be disabled. (D-14941)
