User Profile

The User Profile dialog contains user's changeable settings and other user information.

Preferences

The Preferences tab has the following settings available:

• User interface language: Language for the user interface texts, excluding the user-defined content. (more information)
• Content language: Language for the models and dashboards content. The selection <not translated> means that the original texts are used without any translations. (more information)
• Date format: How to format dates shows in the user interface. (more information)
• First day of week: Whether the first day of the week is Sunday or Monday in the date picker calendar.
• Use 12-hour clock: Whether to show times using the 12-hour or 24-hour clock format.

User Information

User Information tab shows following information for the currently logged in user:

• Username: Login name used when user logs in.
• Full name: Person full name (for example first name and last name).
• Email: User's email address.
• Description: Freely defined description text for the user. The description can be changed in the Manage Users dialog.
• Groups: Groups the user belongs to. The user gets both the global and project level permissions from the groups. Groups can be changed in the Manage Users dialog.
• Global roles: List of global roles assigned directly to the user. In addition, there may be global roles assigned from the groups user belongs to. The global roles have global permissions, so the user has all those global permissions from the assigned global roles. Global roles can be changed in the Manage Users dialog.
• Global permissions: List of global permissions the user has. The permissions determine what actions the user can be perform in the system.
• Authentication method: How the current session was authenticated. Options:
  • QPR ProcessAnalyzer password
  • External identity provider using SAML 2.0
  • External identity provider using OAuth 2.0
  • Snowflake (available in Snowflake Native App)

Change password

Users can change their QPR ProcessAnalyzer password. When changing the password, you need to provide your current password and also confirm the new password. Note that when authenticated using the SSO (SAML 2.0 identity provided) or Snowflake, the password changing in QPR ProcessAnalyzer is not available.

When running QPR ProcessAnalyzer as Snowflake Native App, there is also the Login as other user button to log out QPR ProcessAnalyzer session and go the login screen, so that a different QPR ProcessAnalyzer user can be used. The difference to the Sign out button is that the Snowflake user session is not logged out when pressing this button.
